Day 11 & 12--Lazy Days

Sunday we decided to see a little of the city of Cali by foot, which is a feat in itself because traffic is crazy as I mentioned before. We went with Magnolia, of course, and she took us to a couple of local parks. One was the Cat Sculpture Park along the Cali River and Addisyn really enjoyed it. You will her posing with the cats, there were 13, I think and she posed with each one! For those of you who know Addisyn really well, you will appreciate the one of her looking at a map. She drew her own map of the city for us to use when walking and showed Magnolia before we left. She is a little girl with a big imagination!
When then walked to a center square and Addisyn bought some hair clips with butterflies for herself. There were several vendors set up with small trinkets and artwork on display for sale. Little O was fast asleep by now and I was starting to feel the effects of carrying around 17lbs in 87 degree weather so we headed to the Intercontinental Hotel. We sat by the pool and Addy played on the playground. This is where the pesky mosquitos attacked with venegance. I had muttered the words the previous day that I had not been bitten yet, so they decided to show me. I left there with 39 bites and I had repellant on! They aren't like mosquitos in the states. They are like gnats and you don't even know they're around until it's too late. The bites are small specks that don't swell but itch. Addisyn's bites however do swell, so she must have some reaction to them. Regardless, we moved on to eat at a Pizzeria inside the hotel...which had air conditioning...awwww! We lingered there for awhile.
We didn't do much yesterday, we stayed here at the hotel all day. Below are some of my favorite pics over the past two days.

shot at the hotel...it's full of scenes like this

This one is for Aunt Dana who bought this outfit! I think he rocked it out!
