IT'S A BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, we got the call we've been waiting for 20 months!  We were notified on 11/22/2011 of the referral and all information. I was in Kroger's when I got the call....and I didn't get the message until walking out:)  I called immediately of course and Chuck was on the other line with our case worker!  I knew then it was the real thing.  She gave us the information but couldn't send pictures until we were both on the computer...so I had to drive quickly to get in front of a PC.  When I saw his picture we were all three still on the phone and Addisyn was sitting there with me...it was surreal.  Addisyn was in shock like us. We were not expecting to hear anything until late spring or early summer and definitely not an infant.  He was born May 13th, so he is 7 months old tomorrow. He's just adorable and healthy and already so loved it's amazing!

Because of the holidays and getting our Doctor to review all the medical information, and me travelling to Guatemala 5 days later, we didn't get to accept the referral until Monday, 11/28th. We could officially tell the world, but I was out of the country so we told mainly family and close friends. Since getting home a week ago it's been a whirl wind of paperwork and paperwork but I think I've got it all caught up.

We will travel in 8-10 weeks roughly, depending on when we receive our I-800 approval.  This document, for those unaware, is a petition to the US Immigration Office to travel abroad and adopt a specific child. It usually takes 8-10 weeks to receive, thus the wait.  In the meantime, we have alot to do so it's kind of nice to have the time, although I want to jump on the next plane and go get him!
I've been praying for so long for this day, it's just really hard to believe it's here. I am just so thankful.
